I'm very fortunate to become part of the Van Pelt community.  Although I'm new to area I've come to know many of the fine teachers and students in the Bristol Public Schools as a math tutor in the beginning of 2006.  I've been teaching in a variety of capacities with elementary age children  for 17 years (and growing) in the Madison Wisconsin area.  I received my teaching degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati in Elementary Montessori Education and a Reading Teacher license at the University of Wisconsin Madison. 

My primary goal as a teacher is to encourage children to be excited about learning, delving into things interesting to them, discovering the world has much to offer, and that they have something to give in return.
