Parents are valued partners in Bristol Virginia Public Schools, where we believe that successful learning is achieved through strong connections with parents and all sectors of our community.

Our parents help to ensure the highest levels of student learning through strong partnerships and collective accountability. The excellence in our school system is due, in large part, to the involvement of our parents and their volunteer efforts. By sharing their time, talents and resources as members of PTAs, mentors to students at-risk and on district advisory committees, our parents strengthen the Bristol Virginia Public Schools team.

Reading to children, serving as guest speakers, assisting with PTA and on school based improvement committees are a few of the many volunteer opportunities that await parents in the Bristol Virginia Public School system.  We greatly appreciate the valuable time parents donate to building brighter futures for our students.
