2007-2008 Apples for the
Students

This
year, the program will feature an exciting new element. Rather than
gathering the actual register receipts as in years past, students will
now supply their friends and family with a letter imprinted with
bar-coded number. When scanned during the checkout process, these
barcodes will automatically alert the system of the corresponding school
to credit with the order purchases. This new upgrade will make points
collection easier for everyone - the schools, parents and students.
Highland View PTA
will participate in the Apples for the Students. The bar-coded letter
will be sent home in the student folders later this month. Please
watch for them, keep them handy when at Food City and be sure to give it
to the clerk at checkout so Highland View will receive credit.
