Conversation Hearts Picture Frame

This is a fabulous gift ideas for children to make for their parents.  Parents can also do this activity at home with their children for Grandparents and other friends and relatives.  

Materials:
One Small Picture Frame for each child (available at dollar stores)
Conversation hearts (you know the little pastel hearts with sentiments on them)
Glue gun (preferably one that stays cool)
Photo of each child (you can take these with a regular camera or digital)

Give each child enough candy hearts for their frame.  Have them arrange them how they want them to look. Assist them with gluing the candy onto the frames.  Let the glue dry.  After the frames are dried you can spray them with glaze if you'd like.  Put the pictures in the frame and wrap for the children to take home to their parents.

Valentine's Day Dessert

1 -18 oz. pkg. refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 -8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 cup confectioners sugar
1-21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 - 8 oz. container Cool Whip, thawed
