Musical Machines

This is a neat idea for days when the kids don't feel like writing.  Put a story starter on all the machines in the lab.  Start some music and the kids start writing.  Stop the music and they all move to the right (or to the left) one machine.  Start the music again and they start adding on to what the first person wrote.  Continue this until they get back to their original computer.  They then proofread and edit, but cannot change what it says.  They can also add graphics at this time.  Print out the stories and let the kids read them.  They will love hearing all the different ways the story turns out.
