Bristol Virginia Public Schools

Bristol Virginia Public Schools consists of one high school, one middle school, and four elementary schools. The school system is structured as a three-phase educational experience.

Phase 1:	Elementary School Grades Pre-K through Fifth
Phase 2:	Middle School Grades Sixth through Eighth
Phase 3:	High School Grades Ninth through Twelfth

Curriculum in the Bristol Virginia Public School System is based on the Virginia Standards of Learning. All schools are accredited according to the standards developed by the Virginia Board of Education.

Bristol Virginia Public Schools are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors. Each campus maintains a "School Crisis and Emergency Management Plan" and also participates in a "School Safety Audit".
