Click on links below. Run. Run.

Preliminaries

1. Create a folder on H: named My Web
2. Open FrontPage
3. Close the blank page
4. File | New
5. Create One Page Web Site

6. Specify the location of the new web, Browse to My Web folder on H:
7. Open, OK
8. Double-Click on index.htm in Folder List to open

9. Right-click on index.htm in Folder List and click on Rename. Type default.htm

10. View | Page Size [760X420 (800X600, maximized)]

11. View | Ruler & Grid | Show Ruler

 

Heading

1. Insert | Picture | WordArt

2. Center Using Formatting Toolbar

Picture

1. Insert | Picture | From File
2. Center Using Formatting Toolbar
3. Click Save icon on Standard Toolbar


4. Click Change Folder and select Images folder



5. OK
 

Name, Phone, e-mail address

1. Type Centered Text
2. Shift + Enter (Single Line Space)
3. Tap Space Bar After Typing E-mail address (becomes link)

 

Biography

1. Align Left Using Formatting Toolbar then Type Heading
2. Type Text
Or
3. Insert | File (if you have content saved)

Class Schedule

1. Align Left Using Formatting Toolbar then Type Heading
2. Table | Insert | Table
3. 8 rows and 2 columns
4. Right-click inside table
5. Choose Table Properties | Border = 0

 

Add a Column Option

1. Click in the last column
2. Right-Click and Insert Column

2. Click Bullets on Formatting Toolbar


3. Type Bulleted Content

2. Open website in Internet Explorer then return to FrontPage

3. Type text that you want to link to website
4. Highlight Text
5. Right-click ON highlighted text
6. Choose Hyperlink
7. Click on Browse the Web


8. Close Internet Explorer & click OK
 

Work on Site before Published

1. Open default.htm at H:\My Web by double-clicking on file.
2. File will open in Internet Explorer
3. Go to File | Edit with FrontPage

Publish Site
