| Hello, I am Teresa Hagy. I am a first grade teacher at Washington Lee School.. I have a A.A. and a B.A degree in elementary education from Virginia Intermont College. I have a Master in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia . I have taken many graduate courses since this time to further my expertise as an elementary instructor. I have been teaching for 30 years with three years being at St. Anne's Demonstration School and the remaining years at Washington Lee.I have taught first, third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades. First grade is my favorite. I love children but have a special love for first graders. They are a challenge to me and I love their enthusiasm for learning. Teaching a young child to read is a very rewarding experience.I encourage parents to contact me at any time to discuss their child's progress with me . |

Classroom Rules
1. Follow directions the first time given.
2. Do not talk while the teacher or others are talking to the class.
3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to self.
4. Respect others and school property.
5. Behave in a manner which allows teachers to teach and others to learn.
