The Bristol Virginia School Division, in an effort to simplify procedures on snow days, will use only a Two-Hour Delay or a Complete School Closure notice.  Every effort will be made to issue a decision early, for parent convenience.  However, changing weather conditions may necessitate a last-minute decision.  The schedules for a Two-Hour Delay will be as follows:

 
 
  Elementary Schools        10:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Virginia Middle School        9:35 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.
Virginia High School       

9:40 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.

       

  
Road and weather conditions are not always uniform across the division, and individual responses to weather conditions may vary considerably.

 
The division has installed a snow phone line to update the public on snow conditions.  Please call to check school hours and schedule changes.
