The club has recently added the Ask Me Freshman Orientation program and the National Red Ribbon Week to their schedule. Red Ribbon week is used to make the dangers of drugs in our society more aware.  Overall, the SADD club serves as a positive influence to the younger generation and helps students set and achieve goals for a better tomorrow.

YADAAP( Youth alcohol and drug abuse prevention)
There is nothing in the world like the experience of YADAPP. For 20 years, the Youth Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Project has influenced thousands of students from across the Commonwealth of Virginia and numerous other states.
The mission of YADAAP is to develop youth leadership in order to foster substance abuse and violence prevention efforts at the state, regional, and local level.
Many people participate in YADAPP's summer conference! Up to 100 school/community teams may attend YADAPP each summer. Student participants are rising 10th, 11th, or 12th graders from any public or private secondary school in Virginia. This will include approximately 400 student participants and 100 adult sponsors (representing the 100 school teams), 40 youth leaders, 30 junior staff members, and more than 30 adult conference staff, resource officers, and workshop presenters.
