Mission Statement
The purpose of The National
Beta Club shall be to promote the ideals of character, service and
leadership among the elementary and secondary school students, to
reward meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students
in continuing their education after high school.
Vision Statement
The National Beta Club, a
student-centered organization, continually develops and nurtures
individuals by providing opportunities and experiences enabling them
to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service and
leadership in a global community.
The requirements
for Beta Club include a GPA of at least 3.5 with no F's, or a GPA of 3.2 with no
D's or F's throughout the students entire high school career. It is a
highly structured organization that further aids students to take on
the role given them with individual strength and responsibility.
Criteria for Membership:
During the second semester of the junior year,
students with a 3.5 GPA and no F's or a 3.2 GPA and no D's or F's
and good citizenship are invited to join.
Club Activities:

Nominate a Homecoming
candidate

Service project (usually
around December)

Nominate a boy and girl to
walk in Spring Festival
