College Applications

Remember to get your completed applications in to Mrs. Huff by 9 a.m. on December 19 so she will be able to get them out that day with your transcript.

SAT- ACT Dates

The next SAT date is January 24-Register by December 22, 2003
The next ACT date is February 7-Register by January 2, 2004

Scholarships

Applications for the following scholarships are available in guidance.  If you are interested in applying, see Mrs. Huff.

  • Phi Delta Kappa

    This $1,000 scholarship is available for a senior planning to major in a teaching career.

  • Micron Technology Scholarship

    This $5,000 scholarship is available for a senior who has at least 1350 on SAT and plans to major in engineering, computer science, physics or chemistry.

  • Golf Scholarship

    If you are planning to attend a four year college and play golf, you may apply for this $1,000 scholarship.

  • ETEAC Scholarship

    This scholarship is available for seniors who plan to earn a degree in engineering.

  • Virginia Space Grant Scholarship

If you plan to major in a teaching career in math, science or technology education and plan to attend William and Mary, Hampton University, Old Dominion, University of Virginia or VA Tech, you are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

College Representatives

College Representatives will be here Tuesday, December 9th in the guidance office.  You must get permission from your teacher to talk with the representative.
