Dear Parent or Guardian:
If your child is planning to
further his/her education next year, we are sure you are aware of the
fact that the cost of a college education can be quite expensive.
Financial aid has helped make
it possible for many students to further their education over the
years. Every parent is eligible to apply for financial aid to help
meet college expenses. Because the financial aid form can be quite
difficult and tedious to fill out, the guidance department at Virginia
High will sponsor a Financial Aid Workshop for parents or guardians of
seniors who are planning to go on to college.
Mr. David Matlock, who is an
expert on financial aid, and his staff will be in the Virginia High
School library on Monday, January 29, at 7 P.M., to help you fill out
the form and advise you how to get the most money possible.
If you are interested in
applying for financial aid for your child’s education, we urge you to
attend this meeting. We hope to see you there!
Sincerely yours,
Patsy Huff,
Director of Guidance
