  • Consultative
    Students attend classes in the regular education curriculum and are monitored by their case manager.

  • Resource
    Students attend self-contained classes for less than 50% of their day.

  • Self-Contained
    Students attend self-contained classes for more than 50% of their day.

  • Resource Support
    Students in regular education classes are able to receive help each period from a resource teacher as needed.

Types of Diplomas

  • Advanced Studies Diploma
    Earn 25 standard credits and pass 9 SOL Tests.
  • Standard Diploma
    Earn 22 standard credits and pass 6 SOL Tests.
  • Modified Standard Diploma
    Earn 20 standard credits and pass the Literacy Passport Test. (Classes of 2002 and 2003).
    Earn 20 standard credits and pass the eighth grade English (Reading, Literature, and Research) and mathematics SOL Tests to meet the literacy and numeracy requirements. (Begins with the class of 2004).
  • Special Diploma
    Earn IEP or standard credits in a special education curriculum and/or regular education.
  • Special Education Certificate
    Earn IEP units in courses within the special education curriculum or in general education classes that have been modified.
