Message from your PTA President

DEAR PARENTS AND STUDENTS.

Welcome everyone to the 2008-2009 school year. The PTA would like to express our appreciation to all who have joined together to make VHS and the PTA a wonderful place for students. It is not too late to join PTA. Just send $5 in a envelope with your name and your child's name to the office.

This year for our V/T week we will be having many activities planned. We will be having a Cakewalk; we are looking for people to donate cakes, lemon squares, chess bars, etc. We have Pig-pickin' (BBQ and hot dog meals we hope to tailgate), Fun and Games for all ages ( hopefully a 4 sided bungee jump), a Parade down Long Crescent with the VHS Band, Football team and Cheerleaders, and VHS decorated Vehicles. Finally the tradition of the Bonfire. We hope to see everyone there supporting our Bearcats!

Remember, that your involvement in a child's education will benefit you, the child as well as the school, community and nation. It's never too late to get involved. We hope to you see at one of our next meetings.
