I would like to welcome everyone to Washington-Lee Elementary School for the 2008-2009 school year.  I am looking forward to meeting all our new students and parents this year.  I am encouraging you to become active in your child’s education.  Meet your child’s teacher, find out what is expected of your child this year.  Supervise homework and make sure your child gets off to an excellent start.  Encourage your child to reach the 100% AR goal.  Expect your child to have great behavior on the bus and at school.  Become a partner with the faculty to make sure your child has a wonderful elementary career.  Join the PTA and become an active part of the school and community.  If you have a problem, solution, compliment, or just want to say hello, email me at mbraswell@bvps.org.
